Welcome to Simple Gift Goldens! We are a small family owned Golden Retriever breeding program. Great health and temperament, along with training and socialization are important elements in our program and our pet owning life. Our dogs are loved pets and contributing members of the family. We began our first small scale dog breeding program 20 years ago with AKC Cocker Spaniels. They were the perfect family dog for our small suburban family and we found so much joy in our life with cocker spaniels and a new growing family. After retiring those dogs and that business and growing our family and our space some more we discovered our love of larger breeds of dogs. As a large homeschooling and homesteading family we have come to love our working breed dogs, but also the loyal, intelligent Golden Retriever. We started this interest as one of our oldest daughters had the desire to learn to train service animals and invested in her first Golden Retriever. Our goldens are well loved, and mentored by our strong and steady livestock guardian, Timber, and our reliable old Basset Hound, Buster. They are exposed to kids, cats, guinea fowl, and life in the home with our family and friends. We pour our hearts and time into our animals and strive to prepare puppies who will bring many years of joyful companionship to your family.

We keep our breeding program small and simple. Our girls are part of the family first and foremost. We don't kennel our dogs. They are all house dogs, with free access to run and play with the family on our fenced acreage. We partner with another local breeder for their stud service who also believe in keeping the breeding business small and keeping the family in it.
